2. Information we collect
Photos you submit: images you capture or upload are sent to our AI provider solely to generate an identification. We do not use your photos to build a public dataset.
Usage data: we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics (pages visited, device type, approximate location). We log basic page-view data to operate the service.
Local storage: scan counts and preferences are stored in your browser, not on our servers.
3. How we use information
To provide identifications, operate and improve the service, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party services
We rely on hosting, analytics, and AI-processing providers, which process data on our behalf. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
Submitted images are processed transiently for identification and are not retained by us beyond what is required to operate the service.
6. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact us at roger@grubb.net.
